"The Wrath of Children"

Films: The Changeling (1980)

Alias: None

Type: Mystical

Location: Haunted Home

Height/Weight: Unknown.

Affiliation: Neutral, leaning on Evil

Summary: Spirits often keep inhabiting their own homes for a variety of reasons. It could be hominess, loneliness, or just plain anger at the circumstances of his or her demise. This boy preferred the latter.

History: Long ago in the early 20th century, sickly cripple child Joseph Carmichael was set to inherit the family fortune when he hit 21. His father Richard couldn't stand the idea, so he had him murdered and replaced with a more competent kid that got named the same thing. While the replacement went on to become a U.S. Senator, Joseph's spirit festered in the old house, haunting every corner and endangering anyone who dared live in it.

Notable Kills: See Final Fate.

Final Fate: Apparently now realizing that his replacement has repeatedly denied his dad's crimes, Joseph lets loose and sets his entire house on fire with the protagonists still in it. After making the Senator go into an astral trance, Joseph practically forces the old man to witness how the boy he replaced died. The man dies of a heart attack, and Joseph's spirit and wheelchair remains amongst the rubble, content for once.

Powers/Abilities: Complete manipulation of reality.

Weakness: Should he fulfill his wishes, he will be completley harmless.

Scariness Factor: 4-If any person has anything to do with his family and/or investigating it, Joseph will start seeing red. And believe us, you don't want this invisible apparition to get pissed. Otherwise, there's no escape.

Trivia: -This film was inspired by some strange phenomena in the Henry Treat Rogers mansion in Colorado. Just about everything related to the plot involving Joseph's backstory line up with what happened, even if nothing explicitly supernatural occurred. The mansion has been destroyed for several decades now.

-Despite being marketed as a sequel to this film, the Italian horror film "Until Death" of 1987 has nothing to do with it.

And why haven't you cleaned your haunted wheelchair? It's filthy!

Don't you just hate family squabbles?

Horror can be best defined as a madness you don't understand...much like this poster.

One cig and this place goes up like a Roman candle.
She figured out that the Oscars aren't worth it.
